what i see in lituracture

in lituracture i see authors use love & drama to draw in the audience.

i also see how they use vocabulary to make the audience feel as if they are the character.

pursuit of happiness gets used a lot, feelings, and physicality.

they use vocabulary to relate to the audience.

love chat

he is scared to love because he doesn't wanna get hurt. he feels as if he's going to get hurt by being judged or not being good enough. he doesn't have much confidence in himself. to feel
joy, you must feel pain to understand joy.

02/16/17 blog

in today's class we talked about a lot of things. a topic that stood out to me was making it in america. some believe that if you don't come from a wealthy family you won't be able to be successful in life. i believe that if you fully commit to something & work hard for it , you will achieve your goal. i know this from experience from having terrible grades & doing bad to turning it all around & maintaining higher than a 3.0. most people can talk  about their dreams & goals & what they're gonna do about it, but actions speak louder than words.

journal 02/09

In the last 100 years society has definitely changed. There's not so much racism or sexism against women & there is definitely more respect for women. We have learned to show more respect & less hate. Not that it has fully been erased, but there has been a big change.

The Great Gatsby Notes 2

Daisy is an adventurous girl. She gets along well with many people.

Daisy isn't a happy person. She can't live in the moment. She thinks too much of what will happen or what has already happened.

Tom is a racsist & Daisy teases him but Tom is too dumb to understand

"She told me it was a girl, and so I turned my head away and wept. 'All right,' I said, 'I'm glad it's a girl. And I hope she'll be a fool—that's the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool.'" What did Daisy mean by this?

What does the green light represent?
