The Great Gatsby Notes 2

Daisy is an adventurous girl. She gets along well with many people.

Daisy isn't a happy person. She can't live in the moment. She thinks too much of what will happen or what has already happened.

Tom is a racsist & Daisy teases him but Tom is too dumb to understand

"She told me it was a girl, and so I turned my head away and wept. 'All right,' I said, 'I'm glad it's a girl. And I hope she'll be a fool—that's the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool.'" What did Daisy mean by this?

What does the green light represent?
